Description
The banknote in the image is a five-dollar banknote of the Confederate States of America, issued in Richmond, Virginia, in 1861. In the center of the bill is the portrait of Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederation. The ticket is beige and has the inscription "CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA" on the top. The United States' five-dollar bills have had several designs throughout history, including portraits of Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant. I don't know much or how much it might be worth. I'd like to hear offers or know if it's good or original.
