Sabino France Opalescent Glass Owl Figurine Vintage

This charming vintage figurine comes from Sabino, the celebrated Paris glassworks founded in 1913 by Marius-Ernest Sabino, renowned for pioneering opalescent art glass. Sabino pieces are cherished by collectors for their dreamy blue-white glow in daylight and warm amber shift under UV light, thanks to a touch of natural uranium in the glass formula. This little owl belonged to Mom and was part of her treasured collection for many years. A proud Southern woman with a wonderful eye for beautiful art glass, she cared for this piece and displayed it proudly in her home. This is the Sabino Chouette owl figurine, expertly press-molded with fine feather detailing on the breast, back, and folded wings, perched on a naturalistic textured stump base. The oval foil label reading Sabino Made in France is clearly visible, confirming this as a genuine Sabino piece.
