Randix Collector's Edition Console Radio Cassette Player, 1988

This is a Randix Collector's Edition console radio and cassette player, model OTC 1932 — a nostalgia-styled floor cabinet built in 1988 to evoke the classic 1930s cathedral radios, not an original antique. Mom loved the look and warm sound of this cabinet radio, and kept it in a place of pride in her home for many years. The cabinet is a faux burl and oak veneer over a stepped Art Deco silhouette, with a cloth-covered speaker grille flanked by vertical wood slats and a brass-tone dial faceplate with Volume, Bass, Tuning, and Treble knobs, plus AM/FM and Tape controls. A built-in cassette deck sits below the dial, and a brass nameplate is set into the lower cabinet door. Both the radio and cassette player work. Rich original finish with normal wear consistent with the age of the item. Local pickup only, large item.
