WORKING 1921 Remington Portable #2 Typewriter with Case

First off - YES, you can absolutely use this machine as soon as you get home!! Cleaned, lubed, nice inky black ribbon ready for action! I will personally give you a complete rundown of how it works before we part company. In addition to its being made the very first year of production on this model (1921, Serial NL11794 ), this machine is a one-family typewriter. My wife's grandfather bought it new. I would love nothing more than to see this beauty find a loving home where she'll be used as intended. Secondly, I collect typewriters. I simply LOVE the fact that these American-made machines are still dutifully fulfilling their purpose, so many decades after they were made. It's a word processor and a printer all-in-one! Comes with the case, which is missing its handle but is otherwise in really incredible shape. This thing is going to turn 100 years old!!! Please refer to the photos as they are part of the description. I took a lot of care taking great pictures of the actual item up for sale! CASH ONLY LOCAL PICKUP
