It has up to six compartments for up to 6 feedings. I used it for 4 hour intervals, so every 4 hours the tray rotates with a new meal. It’s easy to clean. I can show you how to take food tray out and how to place back. I’ll even throw in a pack of batteries. It uses 3 AA batteries. The color is white with a pink inner food tray. Great way to keep you pet healthy by feeding proper portions at timed intervals. I used to free feed my cat which led to her over feeding and getting obese. She developed diabetes sadly. We tried to save her with medication and timed feedings but it was too far gone for her. I bought this feeder only a month ago because the one I had previously malfunctioned after three years.
