Description

Each plant has 3-5 leaves (see picture #3). In the dropdown menu, you can also select Large Plants which has +7 leaves $8 This is a floating plant, substrate and CO2 is not required. SHIPPING QUALITY - Please note that Amazon Frogbit is a delicate floating plant and may experience some root loss during shipping. It is very common for frogbit to arrive with shortened or missing roots due to normal transit stress. This does not mean the plant is unhealthy. As long as the leaves are green and intact, the plant will typically begin growing new roots within about one week after being placed in proper aquarium conditions (gentle surface flow and adequate lighting). If you require frogbit with fully established, long roots upon arrival, this plant may not be the best choice for your needs, as root condition during shipping cannot be guaranteed. - Our plants are grown in natural, non-sterile conditions (not tissue culture), so it is possible they may contain hitchhikers such as bladder snails, mini ramshorn snails, or snail eggs. While we do our best to rinse and inspect plants before shipping, we cannot guarantee they will be completely free of snails, algae, bacteria, or other microorganisms. Live aquarium plants may also carry naturally occurring parasites. If you require completely pest-free plants, we recommend treating or quarantining all plants before adding them to your aquarium. HOW DO YOU MAKE THE PLANTS THRIVE - Adequate lighting system, the light that usually comes with new tank is not suitable for growing live plants. - Adequate substrate (except for floating plants), substrate particle size should not be more than 1/4” in diameter. A substrate depth of 2-3 inches is recommended for most plants. - CO2 injection can greatly improve plants growth - Fertilization both in substrate and water column - pH should be in the range of 6.5 - 7.5 - Temperature should be in the range of 70-80 degree for most plants
