Both ends of this cat play/running tunnel is open and then there's a hole/opening in the middle for cats and kittens to run in and out of. This hole in the middle is lined all around the opening and then there's this puffy ball that hang directly down and cats/kittens are able to play and bat it around. THIS HAS BEEN USED AND PLAYED WITH- being used and played with there are a few cat made holes from when my sibling kittens were fighting and playing with one another while one was inside and the other was outside or outside and on top. They sunk their teeth into the material. Inside there are (I think 4 hole visible while outside you can only see 2 holes). Website says, Made of high-quality, snag-resistant material. This listing is ONLY for the tunnel NO CUSHION. Still in good and very useable shape and has lots of life still left in it for your kittens and cats! It was hand washed, air dried and then rolled over to get hair removed the best I could but it being bulky and awkward I could very well miss some spots. JUST FYI-
