Description

Just because you can make a family pack of Oreos disappear on the ride home from HEB does NOT mean you’re a magician!! To be a magician you must wear a top hat, a suit, and copy every trick you’ve ever seen! Only once you find the magician within can you make the magician on stage disappear. David Copperfield took my Aunt Edna to prom, she doesn’t recall much of that night as it was many moons ago, but for some reason she to this day refers to him as David Cop-a-feels. I imagine that means he left her alone that night because he was emotionally tied to a police officer. For his next trick, stealing every trick from his predecessor David Blooperfield. They say magic is all based in slight of hand, well if that’s the case than David Blooperfield was born with two left hands and the grace of a drunken Moose on a frozen pond. In the 1930s Everywhere Davey B. went, crowds lined up, doors opened, women swooned and steak dinners were comped. He combined slapstic comedy with every day illusions. He’s the sole reason magicians now have to feed the rabbit in their hats, as onetime he turned “Thumper” into “Thump”, as was the sound made when his hat was flipped and out flopped Peter cotton tail right onto the stage. The St. Barnabus Sunday school never booked him again and Easter that year was ruined. When discussing an incident involving a female volunteer, a female-volunteer-sized box, and a sharp and REAL saw, David Blooperfield told the female reporter, “The last woman I ever saw, is half the woman you’ll ever be.” ***He was later charged with presto-meditato volunteer-slaughter. Sometimes I see myself as an undiscovered magician, soo undiscovered that I myself have yet to discover. I see myself in David Blooperfield, and I know that only once I find the magician within, can I make the magician on stage disappear. 1941 Original Pastel 17x21 If you want to know the card I’m thinking of, follow my “instar Graham”
