Antique Press-Or Midget Citrus Juicer Hand Press Wood Base 1920s Kitchen Tool

Antique Press-Or Midget manual citrus juicer, approximately 11” x 10”, featuring a cast-metal lever press mounted on its original-style wooden base. This distinctive compact citrus press design dates to the 1920s–1930s era; documented references indicate the Press-Or Midget was sold by Hammacher Schlemmer beginning around 1924. Designed as a non-electric countertop press for extracting juice from citrus fruit. Excellent early American kitchen-tool and mechanical-design display piece with strong farmhouse, primitive, industrial and vintage kitchen decor appeal. Shows substantial authentic age and use: oxidation/patina, surface discoloration and wear to the metal, plus heavy scratches, staining, ring marks and edge wear to the wooden base.
