Chinese Ming Dynasty-style terracotta zodiac attendant figure standing 7.5 inches tall, decorated with surviving traces of white, black, reddish-brown, green, and yellow pigments reminiscent of traditional sancai decoration. Wearing a tall cap and presenting a ceremonial offering, the figure retains remarkable character, with naturally weathered surfaces and remnants of original coloration lending it a striking archaeological appearance. Dimensions: Height: 7.5" Width: approximately 2.8" Depth: approximately 2.2" Material: Terracotta with remnants of polychrome and sancai-style decoration. Condition: Displays age-related wear including surface losses, scattered paint loss, minor chips, discoloration, and natural patina consistent with long-term aging. No major cracks or evidence of restoration observed. Solid and display-ready. Provenance: Acquired in 2009 from IT Gallery in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
