The plant I ship is 2-3 ft tall The conflicting locations indicated by this plant's several names tell the story of its disputed origins. Some sources believe that this flower is a Jamaican native while others claim to have seen it in Cuba first. Recently the Jamaican National Arboretum Foundation began propagating the bell flower as the treasured species appeared to be on the decline, likely due to its slow growth. Cuba White Horse Flower can grow to a small tree at 15 foot tall in nature, though this takes many years as they grow so slowly. Though they grow slowly, these plants produce flowers early in their life. These white blooms begin as a star shaped bud and open in the evening to display a pure white trumpet.
